Alysa Potter - Lead Instructor

After being introduced to pole 3 years ago, it became a healthy addiction for her because of the way it made her look and feel. She’s extremely excited to be a part of the Pole Junkies team and can’t wait to share the art of pole with others.

With AFLCA certification, resistance training, and a degree in psychology, she hopes to break down the barriers between traditional fitness routines and pole dance because she believes that it can be an empowering tool used to gain both physical fitness and self confidence.

She supports a well-rounded fitness routine and enjoys doing pole and yoga, playing hockey, and going to the gym. In her classes, she strives to make all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels fall in love with what the studio has to offer. She looks forward to helping introduce Red Deer to alternative forms of fitness!

Alycia Ryan - Pole Instructor

Started dancing in 2009, after a few months I was hooked. Couldn’t get enough. It is the best form of exercise I have ever done. I had become addicted to the art and the strength that went into doing Pole. I had stopped dancing for a few years when the studio I was at shut down. If it wasn’t for PJ and IPC I don’t know if I would have got back into it.

I admire the teaching skills and the safety that PJ offers. They take pride in teaching safely and correctly to ensure everyone receives the full benefits of pole. I have some bad habits that I didn’t know about until I learned the proper way through PJ
Pole dancing gave me the confidence to feel sexy and embrace being a woman. Dance can make anyone feel sexy!
I have no previous dance background, I have what you would call two left feet. Just goes to show that anyone can do this! I hope to see the same inspiration in other students and watch their confidence grow.

Brittney Pearce - Pole Instructor

Brittney’s been dancing since she was 5. Learning new moves, new forms, and new routines have always been a part of her life. Dance has taught her valuable life lessons and goals.

Her devotion for pole dance started when she signed up for a class with a few of her good friends.

She was obsessed from the first class. After three years of pole dancing she is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach others.

“Pole shows women how they can be strong, powerful, and beautiful individuals. Every woman should feel this way!”

She is currently training to become PFIC certified.
